Export a PDF certificate from your dashboard. It shows your name, total hours, organizations, activity descriptions, and date range, formatted for official submissions.

Can Volunteerly track high school community service hours?

Yes. You can set an hour goal, log entries by organization and date, and watch your progress toward requirements such as Ontario's 40 hour community involvement requirement.

Can I track internship or paid work hours?

Yes. Job Mode lets you track internships and part-time work, including hours, wages, and estimated earnings, kept separate from your volunteer hours.

1. Who We Are

Volunteerly ("we", "us", "our") is a volunteer hour tracking service for students and volunteers. We operate the website at volunteerlyapp.com and any related mobile applications. Our contact email is support.volunteerly@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed)
Volunteer records: organizations, dates, hours, and activity descriptions you enter
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and AI assistant interactions
Payment information: billing details are processed by Stripe. We never store raw card numbers.
Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Volunteerly service
To process subscription payments securely through Stripe
To power the AI assistant features using your volunteer data as context
To send account-related notifications (e.g. password resets, billing receipts)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS in Canada or the United States. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.2+. We apply Row-Level Security (RLS) so that only you can access your own records. Regular automated backups are performed.

5. Third-Party Services

Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage
Stripe: payment processing, governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
Vercel: hosting and CDN for the web application
Google Analytics 4: website analytics to understand visitor behavior, traffic sources, and feature usage. Respects your cookie consent preferences. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
AI Gateway: AI assistant responses. Prompts include your volunteer data but are not stored by the AI provider beyond the request.
Google AdSense: ads shown to free users, governed by Google's Privacy Policy

6. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA (Canada) and applicable provincial laws you have the right to:

Access all personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Export your volunteer data as CSV at any time from your dashboard
Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (such as dark/light mode). Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with the site. Volunteerly is designed for students 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately.
